Chord Inversions

Chord Inversions

The harmonic triad inversions have been diagrammed here for your use. What is interesting is all the negative chords are included with these inversions, leaving only ten new chord inversions for exploration. Harmonic relationships exist within each of these chords. However, in all of the inversions, the bass note is not the root note. Study the diagrams above to understand how to use inversions to name chords.
